We will be releasing Baruwa Enterprise Edition version 2.0.5 on Monday 14th July 2014
This is an important update as it includes updates to critical dependencies with changes to various configuration files.
The Baruwa package has also been split into 3 packages baruwa, baruwa-mailscanner and baruwa-sphinx. This fixes the mailscanner permissions issue, allows for indexing on a separate host without requiring baruwa installed.
This post introduces the changes and allows you to prepare for the upgrade.

To fix the chicken and egg permissions issue when updating mailscanner we have created the baruwa-mailscanner package which is required by the mailscanner package and ensures that the incoming and the quarantine directories retain the correct permissions during an update
