Baruwa Enterprise Edition updates released

Today we are issuing updates to the core Baruwa Packages within Baruwa Enterprise Editon - BaruwaOS, this is a minor update and no new install media will be generated. We are issuing this announcement because core package version numbers have changed.

The notable changes in this release are as follows.

Baruwa 2.0.10

This is a minor Enhancement and Bugfix release and contains the following changes:

  • Implemented support for CIDRs and network ranges in exemption lists closes #61
  • Improved IP address validation in WEB and MTA
  • Improved Geo lookups by switching to the faster Maxmind DB
  • Updated documentation
  • FIX: Catch invalid IP range in lists
  • FIX: Catch indexerror in queuestats command
  • FIX: Update routedata on domain aliases updates
  • FIX: Catch encoding error in cdb file generator
  • FIX: Allow addition of email addresses in domain aliases domains
  • FIX: Some templates not rendering correctly on non branded servers

Baruwa-Setup 0.0.4

This is a minor Enhancement and Bugfix release and contains the following changes:

  • Disabled SecureInfo signatures
  • Improved the internal schema update process
  • Add support for disabling Empty Reply Checks
  • FIX: Allow email addresses with short local parts

Baruwa-Puppet 2.0.10

This is a minor Enhancement and Bugfix release and contains the following changes:

  • Allow CIDRs in exemption lists closes #61
  • Use the global clamav mirror network
  • Improved the MTA customization hooks
  • Install and configure geoip cron updates
  • Added dbname option for txrep cleanup script
  • Apply TLS Exemption list to outbound connections as well

MailScanner 4.85.5-11

This is a minor Enhancement and Bugfix release and contains the following changes:

  • Moved phishing cache directory to base directory
  • FIX: Catch invalid network list entries
  • FIX: Ensure Txrep cleanup works even with custom database names

Updating

Baruwa Enterprise Edition >= 2.0.7 users can update using the baruwa-setup command, please read the changelog as well as the updating sections of the documentation prior to updating.

Users Baruwa Enterprise Edition versions < 2.0.7 should first convert to BaruwaOS, the process will upgrade them to the latest version as well. Please refer to the 2.0.7 section of the upgrade documentation for the process to follow to convert to BaruwaOS.
